Natalie's Birthday Party

Natalie's Birthday PartyOn Sunday, August 13th, we threw a big party at Oak Meadows Park in Los Gatos for Natalie's first birthday -- and she had over 120 guests wish her a happy birthday. There were a lot of gifts to take home.

We had a big jumper with a connected slide, and lots of rubber balls and water spray bottles for the kids. The park also has many playgrounds, a carousel and a real steam engine train to ride. Even Barney came to visit on a beautiful 90 degree day. (+10 more degrees for Barney)

Food was catered and served by Hukilau.

Radio Flyer 2.0

Radio FlyerThis cool wagon has flip open seats so both kids can enjoy a comfortable ride with cup holders. Funny that they still sell the classic metal one with removable wood sides. Who'd want that now?

I didn't create a set, but you can click the photo above to see more at Flickr. You should be able to see the other wagon pictures in the stream, or look for more pictures I uploaded on August 18.

Happy Birthday Nattie!

Happy Birthday Natalie!Natalie turned 1 today. She's practically walking already, and she even says a few words. (That's ok Jaden, we still love you.) Natalie also throws a ball pretty well too. (Not now Jaden, I'm writing about Natalie.)

The big party is Sunday.

Camp Yahoo!

Camp Yahoo! Our company picnic was this past Sunday at Blackberry Farms. As usual, Yahoo! threw another great party. I had more fun this year because it wasn't as hot, Jaden could do more, and the food even seemed tastier.

Click the photo above to see Jaden enjoying his ice cream cone and more.

Thanks Yahoo!

Google - Do no what?

Shady Google Toolbar

How does Google get away with this? So it's not murder, but how is this not evil? I suppose one rationale would be if Google itself is to be worshipped, and any ends justify the means.

What am I talking about? See screenshot above and check out what ZDNet has to say about what "shady Google Toolbar" does now.

It's somewhat understandable given how much spyware is out there messing with your browser settings without notice, but check out what Google does even when a user tries to change the setting themselves.

Shady Google Toolbar

Which sounds nicer to you? Google or some crazy complicated URL? (Oh, it's MSN.)

Click here for a good overview of all it's goodness.

So what do you think?

1) Google should stop behaving like spyware.

2) Yahoo! and Microsoft should just do the same thing.

3) You like that Google does this, but wouldn't like Yahoo! and Microsoft to do it.

Be honest.

Thx,

Blues Clues?!

Blues CluesLance Bass

Did you know Blues Clues was a girl?! Apparently a lot of folks do know this, but I had no clue of any color until tonight when I saw a commercial about him, I mean, her becoming a big sister. I wasn't surprised a bit to hear about Lance's coming out, but I'm so shocked and shaken by the Blues Clues revelation that I've been asking everyone since if this was news to them. (Again, apparently not.) But I'm not the only one right? Please chime in if this is a surprise that will keep you up at night.
